Well the so called spring break is almost over and instead of just chillin and relaxing we were busy with - you guessed it - wedding planning stuff...aaahhh!!! when is it going to end???
We finally completed the wedding registry at BB&B. What a great place, everything you need for your home in one convenient location, haha. It was hard work but we are done with that.
Then we went to Michael's to find the cake topper, party favors, champagne glasses, guest book, the rest of decorations for the tables, etc. And of course they have all these incredibly pretty do-it-yourself invitations. We had previously bought invitations at Office Max but then we (I guess I did) saw these other ones I had to change them. Problem was I had bought the first ones and more than the required 30 days to exchange/return policy had passed so we didn't know if they were going to take them back. But thank God they did, we were pretty lucky. The manager told us "We're not supposed to but I'll do it just for this time" We looked at each other and began breathing again.
So we got the prettier invitations and I began getting them done, printing samples I was getting frustrated because the things weren't printing right. Then my dear hunny bunny came to the rescue. We worked on the invitations for the longest time until finally they came out perfect. Then the reception cards, then the rsvp's trying to print centered on the paper. At last they were all perfect and ready to go. We started printing and assembling them. They should be ready for mailing this week.
I'll end this post with good news. We finished our pre-marriage talks with our sponsor couple!!! We visited the deacon at St. Cecilia and he gave us a letter to take to Walsingham saying that we had completed the preparation course. Next weekend we'll continue the second NFP session and we'll be much closer to completing that too. yay!!
The light at the end of the tunnel is still very small but it's there and we're getting closer to it. 70 more days.

The headache continues...
Whoever said wedding planning is fun...it is not! It's been almost a month since the last post. Well, the nightmare of planning and things to do just keep piling on and on. We have 73 days to go!
We finally got together with the DJ, signed yet another contract and talked about what we wanted (sort of). We really had no idea about all the small details that entertaining a crowd requires. He asked us if we had chosen a first dance song, an entrance song, if we had a list of music selection, what kind of clubs we frequented (to know our music tastes). We just looked at each other like "huh?" Just like the time we met with the florist and she asked us about what kind of flowers we wanted, colors, sizes, shapes. OMG!!! just give me some white flowers dammit, we don't know about flowers!!!
But of the major stuff I guess, we got pretty much everything covered (we hope). The problem is now the payments, ha! We are still thinking whether or not to get a mariachi and/or a car. We haven't decided on a honeymoon location or how we're gonna get there. Dave ordered his tux, I still gotta send my dress to have a couple of things done to it.
Right now we're in the process of printing, assembling, labeling and mailing invitations (another headache). I thought printing our own invitations would be a breeze but these suckers are more difficult than I thought (aligning, margins and page sizes are such a pain).
Well, good thing spring break came along and gave us some time to do stuff we haven't been able to do during regular school/work days.
