Gift Registry

So when I was a kid, I would fantasize about getting married. Its not what you think; I always wanted to go to a store and use one of those gun deals and start scanning all the stuff I want! So finally my day came when Aly and I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It wasn't all I hoped it would be. It was hard work! Luckily for me, Aly already had a list of things we need for our new home together. And she was serious about this list; she would not let me add any "fun" gifts or gifts that I consider fun (like a bar glass set or a whisky flagon). There's a lot of stuff to get; things for the bedroom, for the bathroom, and the granddaddy of them all, the kitchen! What a day. My feet were sore by the time we had finished. We hit a roadblock when we couldn't agree on the color for our bed comforter ( I like dark colors, Aly likes light colors). We had to split our shopping into two trips. On the first day we got the bedroom and bathroom stuff done. The second day we went to a different BB&B to get all the kitchen stuff but it was a small store with not a lot of selections. So we decided to also register at Macy's and get all our kitchen stuff. Moral of the story: Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it!
