Update...

Well, eeww that picture is not very nice looking. Hope no one thought it was me, it is not. The last post seems like it was ages ago. Since then, we have gotten sick again, recovered and sick all over again. Not fun.

It's been pretty busy at Queen of Peace (near UH) I've been there almost 3 months. It has been great even though sometimes I wanna choke a kid or two, haha. Dave started the spring semester @ St. Thomas. We continue with the preparations for the wedding. Lots of things have happened. I don't know if I posted the slight problem we had at St. Cecilia but here it is.

So it was waaay more than 6 months since we talked to the priest and he told us everything is fine and dandy, we began pre-marriage talks with our sponsor couple, booking stuff, etc. When one day the priest leaves me a message saying there's a small problem with our date! Woot!! I call him back and after some missed calls back and forth, we finally meet with him and he informs us that they had double booked the church for that day. Our wedding and some other event, and of course who did they kick out?: US. He tells us we can either change the date or find another church. Just great!
I start getting paranoid, we look at some options for the church and talk to the priest again. We decide to have the wedding moved to Our Lady of Walsingham a very nice, small, traditional looking church. You should all go to mass there some time. So now we have a church but there is a small problem, it is a catholic church with an anglican rite. The mass might not be in spanish as we would have liked to begin with and the whole deal might be kind of weird for our priest. But he seems to be willing to give it a try so we'll see how it goes when he meets or talks to the deacon there.

Back to the planning and such. We have booked reception venue, photography, florist, caterer, cake, registered at Bed Bath and Beyond (I'll leave it to Dave to tell you about our fun day at BB&B), we still got some more things to register for (mainly kitchen stuff, fun) ...I think most major things are done. Anyone know a good/not too expensive DJ?? We still haven't been able to decide where to go for our honeymoon. Time is flying by and we need to book something soon!!!

There are now 111 day till the wedding and counting. We still have lots to do, mainly small details which are the biggest pain in the booty. Yay!
