Last week (April 8) was my parents' 31 yr anniversary. They had a small dinner at Rudy Lechner's with us three (my two sisters and I ) and the guys and a couple of their close church friends. It was a fun time. We had yummy food, beer and even won a couple of things in the raffle.
It made me realize how time flies. As we were sitting there chatting, waiting for our food I thought of the many things we've gone through as a family; the good, the bad and everything in between. And how even with all the adversities and circumstances my parents have stayed together and managed by always having God close in their lives (our lives).
I wonder about the things life will bring as we start this new chapter in our lives. It's a bit scary yes, but with God near I know we too will each year be closer to celebrating our 31 yr. anniversary as well...and many more.
